The Third Coast CFAR’s Behavioral, Social, and Implementation Sciences (BSIS) Core provides expert consultation to implementation research studies led by Third Coast CFAR members, and develops original workshops to engage new investigators and community partners in HIV implementation science. Recorded workshops and slide decks on fundamentals and methods in implementation science, developed by the BSIS Core, are available:
- IS 101: An Introductory Workshop
- IS 201: Experimental Designs for Implementation Research
- Landscape of NIH-Funded HIV Implementation Research
- Two Hybrid Effectiveness-Implementation Trials of HIV Prevention eHealth Interventions for Diverse YMSM
The BSIS Core also navigates users to resources and experts throughout the national CFAR network through the Inter-CFAR Implementation Science Working Group (CFAR-ISWG).
The Inter-CFAR Implementation Science Resources section of the Third Coast CFAR website houses recorded presentations, slick decks, links to training opportunities, and other helpful resources.
