Howard Brown Health is one of the largest providers of HIV care and prevention services in Chicago. Founded in 1976, HBH has expanded its programs and locations to serve over 19,000 clients in 2015. Since the 1980s, the health center’s staff and clients have worked closely with Third Coast CFAR institutions on a multitude of HIV research studies. David Ernesto Muñar, Howard Brown Health CEO,  and several of his colleagues will present the health center’s strategic vision, patient population, and services. The HBH leadership will also discuss ongoing research initiatives and opportunities for new collaborations.

HBH has been a leader in HIV and LGBTQ care for decades. Nearly 3,000 people with HIV receive primary care at HBH and over 1,300 HBH clients have initiated PrEP. The health center provides a full range of supportive services to people with HIV and those at high risk.
