To accelerate progress toward ending the HIV epidemic, an open-access supplemental issue published on March 31, 2025, in the Journal of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndromes (JAIDS) examines key findings and takeaways from National Institutes of Health-funded projects. Guest editors include faculty members of the Third Coast Center for AIDS Research (TC CFAR) and co-investigators for the HIV Implementation Science Coordination Initiative (ISCI).
The supplemental issue, “State of US HIV Implementation Science: Progress and Priorities to End the Epidemic by 2030,” summarizes shared HIV implementation knowledge from 120 Ending the HIV Epidemic in the US projects across 40 priority jurisdictions where HIV diagnoses are highest. It also identifies next steps critical to improving the scale-up, dissemination, and delivery of HIV interventions.
