The Duke Center for AIDS Research (CFAR) is launching its new Inter-CFAR Health Equity Working Group aimed at connecting HIV-focused investigators dedicated to reducing inequities across HIV prevention, care, and treatment. 

The first meeting for the Duke Health Equity Inter-CFAR Working Group will focus on how investigators, particularly early-stage investigators, can incorporate health equity methodologies into their work. Experts who have developed and applied key health equity frameworks in their research will provide short presentations. Attendees will have an opportunity to participate in interactive breakout sessions to engage in deeper discussions with the speakers about each health equity framework and how investigators can use the framework in their research.
