Northwestern University’s Division of Infectious Diseases Emerging and Re-Emerging Pathogens Program (EREPP) has issued new funding opportunities for research and infrastructure proposals and dissemination proposals. The EREPP is led by Judd Hultquist, PhD, assistant professor in infectious diseases at Northwestern and a co-investigator on the Third Coast Center for AIDS Research Viral Pathogenesis Core.

The EREPP is seeking to fund a series of small research grants (max. $15K) and infrastructure awards (max. $15K) intended to bolster the study of emerging infectious diseases by researchers at Northwestern University. In addition, the EREPP is seeking to fund a series of dissemination awards focused on enhancing visibility of ongoing emerging and re-emerging pathogen research at Northwestern. Dissemination award applications may request support to assist with either costs of publication in a peer-reviewed journal (max. $4K) or costs associated with registration and travel to a relevant international conference (max $2.5K).

The deadline for submissions is Friday, August 16, 2024, at 5:00pm CT.
