Judy Moskowitz, PhD, director of the Third Coast CFAR’s Behavioral, Social, and Implementation Sciences (BSIS) Core, has been awarded the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine 2023 Mentor of the Year. The Mentor of the Year Award celebrates the importance of mentorship within Feinberg’s academic community and acknowledges established faculty members who foster the professional growth of junior faculty to help them achieve their full potential. Moskowitz is a professor of medical social sciences at Feinberg and a social psychologist. Her research team is currently conducting trials of an intervention aimed at improving health and health behaviors in people living with HIV.
