The University of Chicago’s Department of Medicine, Section of Infectious Diseases and Global Health in the Biological Sciences Division, is looking for Research Assistant Professors who will contribute to research projects as part of the Chicago Center for HIV Elimination. The appointees’ primary activity will be to conduct academic research in association with a faculty member or team. Appointees will complement existing areas of strength and contribute to project conception and execution.

Applicants with expertise in any of these areas are especially welcome: implementation science, pragmatic trial design, advanced biostatistics and computational modeling. Fields of interest include public health and socio-behavioral interventions for HIV, viral hepatitis, and/or substance use disorder, and the understanding of these processes in the context of the underlying risk environment, including criminal legal and other policy contexts. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent upon qualifications.
