The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is encouraging research to test the implementation of COVID-19 diagnostic testing in underserved or vulnerable communities through the Rapid Acceleration of Diagnostics for Underserved Populations (RADx-UP) initiative.

NIH will hold two pre-application webinars covering the four RADx-UP funding opportunities: NOT-OD-20-119NOT-OD-20-120NOT-OD-20-121, and RFA-OD-20-013.


First webinar: Friday, June 26, 2020, from 1–3 p.m. CT

This webinar will include an overview of the RADx-UP initiative, followed by presentations on each funding opportunity (NOT-OD-20-119NOT-OD-20-120NOT-OD-20-121, and RFA-OD-20-013) with question and answer sessions for each. The webinar will conclude with a final, open question and answer session.

Second webinar: Wednesday, July 1, 2020, from 2–4 p.m. CT

This webinar will focus on questions for applications for the RADx-UP Coordinating and Data Collection Center in response to RFA-OD-20-013. Questions related to the other three FOAs will also be addressed.
