Are you committed to developing a youth-focused HIV research career? Are you having trouble finding a qualified HIV research mentor? The Adolescent Trials Network for HIV Interventions seeks qualified diversity applicants to participate in a 24-36 months mentored youth-focused HIV research career development program. The program seeks to recruit diversity scholars who are unlikely to successfully develop careers as youth-focused HIV researchers without appropriate mentorship. The program is designed to leverage the resources and talent that resides in the ATN to provide scholars with real world experience conducting youth focused HIV research. The program aims to help scholars acquire the skills and tools they will need to develop and sustain productive, rewarding research careers, successfully compete for independent research grants, many of which will support the ATN’s research agenda and advance through the academic ranks. The program will provide 20% salary support for scholars with the hope that additional protected time be provided by their institutions. Each scholar will be matched with an experienced mentor whose research expertise are in concert with the scholar’s research interest.
