Dr. Alida Bouris, Co-Director of the the Third Coast CFAR’s Behavioral, Social, and Implementation Sciences core, has won praise for her leadership in expanding social services and research programs on Chicago’s South Side. Dr. Bouris is an Associate Professor in the University of Chicago’s School of Social Service Administration (SSA) and studies the social context of adolescents’ sexual health. Her work as the Co-Director of the Chicago Center for HIV Elimination (CCHE) was featured in SSA’s winter magazine as a successful example of research-social services partnerships.
